To create a series of video and stills stories for Together We Are Greater Manchester, bringing the city-region strategy to life through the voices and experiences of local people and communities. The work focused on authentic, documentary-style storytelling that captures everyday moments, energy, and pride across Greater Manchester.

The full story

We produced a suite of video and stills stories to support Together We Are Greater Manchester, the refreshed city‑region strategy that sets out a collective vision for the next decade - building a thriving Greater Manchester where everyone can live a good life.  

Rather than producing generic campaign assets, the brief was to reflect the lived reality and diversity of people, places and communities across Greater Manchester. Our role was to create authentic visual stories that bring the ambition people-centred spirit of the strategy to life, capturing day‑to‑day moments as well as broader aspirations for the future.

Working across multiple boroughs, we spent time with residents, community groups and local businesses to tell stories of real people impacted by the strategy. The idea was to celebrate what already makes Greater Manchester unique while visually linking that everyday energy to the strategy’s long‑term goals of inclusive growth, wellbeing and opportunity for all.  

The videos and stills were used at the launch of the strategy as well as across the Together We Are Greater Manchester platform and partner communications to illustrate the strategy’s core themes, helping to make the strategy feel tangible and human, not abstract.
